Chubb cyber business policyholders in Europe to receive a complimentary Dashlane Premium license as part of their policy benefits after successful North American partnership

Dashlane has announced a partnership expansion with Chubb. Building on a successful North American partnership, Chubb cyber business policyholders in Europe will now receive a complimentary Dashlane Premium license as part of their policy benefits, with other regions available soon. The innovative partnership is part of Chubb’s Cyber Services program, helping policyholders identify and mitigate key cyber exposures.
According to the U.S. National Cyber Security Alliance, the average price for small businesses to clean up after being hacked stands at $690K, and for middle market companies it’s more than $1m. By using a password manager as a first line of defence, businesses can add an additional layer of security against hacks, data breaches, and other cyber-attacks.
“Poor password hygiene is a major risk for companies–a single stolen credential re-used on multiple sites can unlock dozens of accounts for hackers, exposing companies, employees, and customers to security breaches,” said Emmanuel Schalit, ceo of Dashlane. “A strong password manager like Dashlane is key in providing cyber risk prevention, and we’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Chubb globally, ensuring that small businesses stay fortified against online threats.”
Tim Stapleton, svp, Cyber & Technology Practice leader, Chubb Overseas General, added “We are committed to bringing to our cyber policyholders the most effective risk improvement services. We recognize that password security is an important part of cyber risk protection that enhances cyber defences by improving employee behaviour. Dashlane and Chubb are industry leaders, and we’re proud to partner and offer this solution.”
