edge IPK and TIA extend partnership
edge IPK, global provider of edgeConnect-User Experience Platform (UXP), and TIA, a leading provider of comprehensive insurance software solutions, have announced an extended partnership agreement between the two companies.
TIA has adopted edgeConnect as the strategic UXP technology to deliver a Broker Portal Solution fully integrated to the TIA Underwriting System.
The Portal Solution will provide brokers with an optimum user experience and be accessible via multiple device types, including smart phones and tablets, enabling broker field staff to provide accurate, bespoke quotations whilst on client premises.
The flexibility and benefits of the solution extend beyond its Multiple Access Device capabilities and also enables Insurers to quickly and easily provide white labelled products to its broker community. These products can be accessed by broker field staff via the portal significantly increasing efficiency by increasing the number of visits made to clients and minimising down time resulting from information transfer to back office systems and/or to call representatives.
Another key benefit for brokers is the removal of the traditional overhead of downloading insurer’s application or rating tables. The Portal provides immediate access to the most up to date insurance products which is integrated directly to the TIA Underwriting system ensuring accuracy of every quotation provided.
Niels Trzecieski, Business Development Executive for TIA said "Insurers wanting to successfully distribute through the broker channel must position themselves as the most attractive option for the brokers. Superior “ease-of-doing-business-with” becomes a competitive advantage. The combined strength of the TIA Solution and edgeConnect allows insurers to extend their underwriting capabilities all the way out in front of the customer through the broker channel thus offering agile service to the benefit of the customer, the broker and the carrier."
Mike Williams, ceo edge IPK said " Insurers offering a portal solution to their broker community, accessible Any-time, Any-place and on Any-device, will look to benefit by a significantly reduced cost of sale by enabling brokers self service functionality and increased efficiencies. Insurers will also increase broker loyalty by providing them with immediate access to products, even when out on the road, via a positive user experience whatever the device. edge IPK and TIA together are able to ensure that Insurers can deliver high levels of customer service, to both brokers and direct customers, in what it is an increasingly competitive marketplace in a tough economic climate."
TIA and edge IPK have had many successful implementations and the selection of edgeConnect as the strategic UXP to deliver TIA’s Broker Portal Solution is another step forward in this successful partnership.
